This Privacy Policy reflects the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the Personal Data Protection Act, and the implementing regulations regarding the collection, processing, storage, and destruction of individuals’ personal data.

DATA PRIVACY

We recognize the importance of protecting the personal data of our customers and partners, and we strive to maintain sound policies and practices that ensure the highest possible level of protection for your personal data processed in connection with the provision of basic and/or additional travel services related to accommodation and meals, as well as other services provided on-site at the hotel we manage.

Privacy of Personal Data
We use and collect your personal data to ensure the accurate and prompt provision of services and to assist our customers.
The processing of your personal data provided to the HOTEL is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws, and the HOTEL respects your privacy. The HOTEL guarantees that the persons authorized by it to process personal data have undertaken a confidentiality obligation or are legally bound to maintain confidentiality.

PRINCIPLES OF PROCESSING

When processing personal data, we adhere to the following principles:
– Lawfulness – when collecting, processing, and storing your data, we comply with the provisions of applicable Bulgarian and European legislation;
– good faith and transparency – the data we collect and process is in accordance with this privacy policy, which is available to every user;
– data minimization and processing in accordance with the purposes – the types of data we collect are kept to a minimum, in accordance with the purposes for which they are processed. The purposes for which your data is processed are those for which we are legally obligated, for which we have a contractual relationship, or for which we have obtained your consent;
– Storage limitation – we process and store the data received for a period of time consistent with the purposes for which it is needed and in accordance with your consent.
– User consent for data processing – in order to use your data for marketing purposes, with the aim of improving the services we provide to you, we must obtain your explicit consent for this.

Please note that when you send an inquiry to the HOTEL (regarding pricing, reservations, clarifications about an existing reservation, hosting an event, and/or other questions related to the services provided by the hotel) you consent to the HOTEL storing and processing the personal data you provide for the purposes of your inquiry.

In this case, your data will be deleted in accordance with applicable regulations and this privacy policy.

DATA PRIVACY

The HOTEL may disclose and provide personal information in accordance with applicable law if a court or administrative authority orders or requests such disclosure, or if the provision of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation of the HOTEL. The data collected for the purposes of accommodation at the HOTEL is accessible to third parties specified in the Tourism Act—the Ministry of Tourism, municipalities, the Ministry of Interior, the National Revenue Agency, and the National Statistical Institute.

What data we process, for what purposes, and on what legal basis:

1. Data provided by you that is necessary for identification and the fulfillment of your confirmed reservations at Hotel Elite, such as:

• the person’s name; personal identification number (for Bulgarian citizens) or personal foreigner’s number (ЛНЧ, for foreign nationals with a residence permit in Bulgaria), or date of birth (in all other cases);

• gender;
  

• nationality;

• ID card number/valid national identity document, country that issued the national document.

• information about the type and content of your reservation, as well as any other information related to it, including emails, letters, requests, inquiries, complaints, and other feedback we receive from you;

The length of time your personal data is stored depends on the purposes for which it was collected:

Your personal data, processed for the purpose of providing and fulfilling accommodation services at our facility, is retained for a period of up to 3 (three) years from the date of your departure from the hotel, as well as until all financial obligations between the parties have been fully settled, in compliance with any applicable statutory time limits;

In order to process your reservation and provide you with the accommodation services you have requested at our facilities, we require certain information as mandated by the laws in force in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Failure to provide the personal data specified in Section 2.1 will prevent the HOTEL from accepting your reservation and, consequently, from providing you with the requested services on-site at our facility.
